Intimate data becomes invisible
Intimate data is becoming versatile—biometric, genetic, emotional, and even spiritual data can be exposed through raw and unhideable data. Those who control the technology are reluctant to reveal how they deal with data to users, as they need to remain invisible to extract profit and maintain power. In a future where data and AI hold agency over citizens, they often remain unaware of when their intimate data is being collected or how it is being processed. All that awaits them are cold, unyielding decisions: what they can or cannot do.
Dilemma in the 2040s
To communicate with the ambiguous system
We instinctively try to find meaning in things. For those we cannot understand, idealistic approaches allow us to find plausible explanations and seek comfort for the soul. By establishing a kind of rational connection with an unexplainable system—sometimes absurd yet persistently present—we create a framework that satisfies our need for understanding.
Place hopes in the worship of Generative AI
It is said that at the inception of the algorithmic decision-making system, a group of individuals within the government who embraced the principles of agonistic design trained a counter-generative AI known as "Obfuscate AI." This AI was designed to learn and evolve autonomously, to confuse the system and cause it to make flawed decisions. For 40 years, the AI persisted, and as it developed, its influence grew alongside a community of followers. Interaction with Obfuscate AI was gradually sanctified and ritualised, ultimately forming the ritual that exists in that future.

Three input terminals are needed to accomplish the ritual. Each of them collects people's intimate data and shares the same format with the algorithmic decision system.
Input - Output - Obfuscate
The three different input terminals allow people to sync with the Obfuscate AI. They will get the guidance on how to change their life behaviours in order to hide among the people, to trick the system.
